Tony is an Executive Director of Gresham Partners and Chairman of Grange Securities. He is a Director of ING Australia and ING Bank Australia. Tony was Managing Director of Macquarie Bank from 1985-1993 and Managing Director of Boral from 1994 until he led a split of the company into Origin Energy and Boral. He was Chairman of Record Investments from inception in 2001 until 2005, a Director of Westfield Holdings from 1985-1993 and a Member of the NSW State Rail Authority from 1989-1993. He is Chairman of the Advisory Council of the Australian Graduate School of Management.
In the Arts, he was Chairman of Musica Viva Australia from 1986-1998 and was a Member of the National Gallery of Australia from 1997-2003. He was Chairman of the NGA Foundation for seven years and remains on its Board.
He was made a Member of the Order of Australia in 1992, and was awarded the Richard Pratt Business Leadership Award by the Australia Business Arts Foundation in 2002.
Tony holds a BEc (Hons) from the University of Sydney and an MBA from The Harvard University Graduate School of Business Administration.
