Colin has been on the board of Indigenous Enterprise Partnerships
since its inception and chaired the Board between 2000 and 2009.
Colin is one of the founding partners of The Boston Consulting Group (BCG) in Australia,
He retired as Senior Vice-President in 2001. Since that time, he
has held a part-time role as Senior Advisor to BCG.
He is also a non-executive director of two Australian public companies -
Wesfarmers and SEEK - and was until recently a director of Origin Energy and Fosters.
Colin is Chairman of the AFL Foundation, having recently retired as Commissioner of
the Australian Football League (AFL).
He is also a director of Geelong Football Club, World Vision Australia and
the Cape York Institute for Policy and Leadership.
With more than 30 years' experience in management consulting and a wide industry knowledge,
his most recent pursuits focus on corporate governance issues, especially in relation to
boards of directors' deliberations.
He has carried out board performance reviews for a number of companies and has co-authored a book
called "Back to the Drawing Board", published by the Harvard Business School Press in late 2003.
Colin has a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Melbourne University
and an MBA from Harvard Business School, where he graduated with
Distinction and as a Baker Scholar.
