What can the IEP Alumni offer? The IEP Alumni is a group of 500 talented individuals with a range of skills developed in a corporate environment. These individuals have had unique experiences working full-time in Indigenous organisations to meet specific objectives. Skills possessed by past secondees include but are not limited to:

Negotiation

Practical experience in overcoming objections, strong communication and negotiating skills

Financial Counselling

Able to effectively express the benefits of budgeting to families, obtain information and communicate the ongoing responsibilities

Training / Coaching

Coaching and training skills

Personal Credit

Experienced in assisting clients with consumer credit / credit problems

Banking Solutions

Uncovering needs and assisting with banking solutions, (selecting and opening accounts, demonstrating internet banking etc)

Project Management

Experienced project manager

Indigenous Experience

Experienced in dealing with indigenous people

Business Planning

End to end business planning skills for very small to medium business

Feasibility Analysis

Ability to research and complete a detailed feasibility study

Marketing

Experienced in developing simple effective marketing strategies for small to medium businesses or programs

Business or Business Banking

Sound knowledge of the business cycle and what makes business successful

Financial Analysis

Strong financial analysis skills

Project planning

Ability to translate concepts/ideas into tasks/deliverables, scope out workload, assign timelines, identify risks/issues, budgets etc

Business Mentor

Able to coach and transfer simple business skills skills to clients

OH&S

OH& S Qualifications, able to assist with development and or implementation of OH&S Policies

Quality Assurance

Experienced with QA systems, able to develop and or implement QA systems

Possess analytical skills, able to determine business requirements
