IEP Alumni

About the IEP Alumni Program The IEP Alumni Program was established in July 2009. The Alumni's purpose is to further IEP's agenda by facilitating an informed and active program that helps past Secondees stay connected with IEP's programs, other Secondees and Indigenous communities around Australia. The objectives of the IEP Alumni Committee are as follows: Secondee Support Provide guidance and support to prospective, current and returning secondees through a Secondee buddy program, Alumni events and newsletter. Education/Raising Awareness Inform the wider community about IEP initiatives and issues/opportunities in Indigenous Australia Engagement with Indigenous Communities Sustain meaningful relationships with Indigenous communities. Utilise the skills and experience of past Secondees to build a community of like-minded individuals partnering with Indigenous organisations.   These themes share a strong dedication to addressing economic and social disadvantage within Indigenous communities and empowering these communities to be actively involved in providing solutions, and working towards a sustainable society. The IEP Alumni program is guided by the IEP Alumni Committee, a team of passionate past Secondees from a range of IEP corporate partners.
